About the network

A single platform for private education in KP

PEN KP was founded in 2012 by leading school associations and senior figures from the private education sector. It exists to protect and promote the rights and interests of private institutions across the province.

For more than a decade the network has led advocacy through dialogue, legal engagement and consultation with government. The campaign to amend the PSRA Act secured changes to provisions that restricted the autonomy of private institutions.

Alongside legal and policy work, PEN KP champions quality education, the dignity of teaching, and moral values in the curriculum.
